Artist Residency Competition — Open Call**

Location: Oharano Studio Gallery, Kyoto, Japan

Deadline for Submissions: February 28, 2026

Don Magazine and Oharano Studio Gallery invite artists from around the world to submit portfolios for the 2026 Artist Residency Competition. Selected artists will receive a free two-week residency in Kyoto, with their work featured in Don Magazine Issue 14, releasing September 20, 2026.

1. Eligibility

• Open to artists 18 years and older.
• All nationalities are welcome.
• Individual artists may apply.
• All visual mediums accepted, including painting, photography, sculpture, installation, video, performance, new media, and interdisciplinary practices.
